"Does anybody know where Hooter's is?" haha[br]Pretty slick video. Which program did you use? Was that a normal meet? ...or [br]an event?[p]About 2 weekends ago I strapped a camera to my passenger seat and went [br]screaming thru a local park with twisty roads. I was hitting about 60 with the [br]tires just barely singing around the bends. I then strapped the camera to my [br]rear wing on the driver's side and retraced my twisty path thru the park. But [br]when I got home and replayed the video, it looked so friggin' boring. The [br]camera didn't even come close to capturing the feeling of the hard driving I was [br]doing. Bummer. Plus, the wind noise was so disgusting, I had to mute the TV [br]to bare watching it.[p]One of these days I'll get a remote camera lense that I can suction-cup to the [br]side of my car, really low to capture the ground whizzing by, and the front wheels [br]working overtime. And a remote mic that I can place on the rear bumper, away [br]from the wind, to capture the exhaust sound. Both units would then plug into a [br]camcorder acting as a vcr. It's far cheaper than rigging up a Vüz system, [br]although it's only a temporary setup. I think this simple setup, some editing, and [br]a pulsing soundtrack would inject the drama back into my amature WRX videos![p]By the way... has anyone done something like this before? Anyone know of a [br]good source for remote cameras? ...like the mini ones they use on Monster [br]Garage and Junkyard Wars?[br][p][Edit by parrothead1973 on Wednesday, December 3, 2003 @ 04:05 PM]

MACs dominate. I don't really care about games on the mac, or the lack [br]of 'em doesn't bother me. That's what I have a PS2 for. I use my macs for[br]design, audio, and video editing... and as a dj at parties. Yeah, I've messed [br]around with iMovie 2 quite a bit. I was just curious what you were using. I[br]checked out the wrx.mov a little while ago. Nice. I think your newest with [br]the new music works better overall, but I really liked the way the video and [br]the matrix music meshed when the cars were pulling out of the lot. (Made [br]me think of Jaws for some odd reason.) The music can make or break a [br]video sometimes. I've tried matching up different songs to the intro of GT3.[br]Evanessence's "Bring Me Back to Life" works out almost perfect if you start [br]it a just the right point when the garage door opens.[p]Anyways, great work on the home videos. I hope to be posting a few of my [br]own as time goes on. Keep 'em coming bro!
