The Perrin fmic is surely going to cram cool air in; but what did you do with the top mount ic and scoop? Seems to me that losing the scoop would (incrementally) add to aerodynamics. (To say nothing about visibility over the thing).

Well, I've been trying to post a new topic in the forums, but each time I try, [br]I never know where the post will actually end up. I don't even know where [br]this one will go??? There still seems to be something screwy with the Vivid [br]forums. If anyone in charge reads this, please help! Thanks.[p]Oh, and for whomever takes on the task of forum repairs... good luck! I know[br]how hard computer database bugs can be to track down and fix. Peace.[p][Edit by parrothead1973 on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 @ 12:44 PM]

they create suction by the air rushing over them, keeping the aerodynamics but sucking out the hot air in the engine (hot air rises remember) and letting the cold air come through the grill, creating a nice flowing of air[p]That was pretty good, i bullshitted that but it seems to make sense...[p]And norseone, i just realized that was a picture of your car! Nice car man! i love ganador mirrors, looking good.[p][Edit by HoChiMinh690 on Thursday, December 11, 2003 @ 01:41 AM]

yea, i have to say, the hoodscoop you chose and your FMIC really make that car look extremely hot, anyway, i gotta say your car and that guys "stealth" 03 which was posted under "My really neat WRX" are my 2 favorite non 04's[p]ya know, this one:[br]
[p]oh yea, if anyone really knows how those hood scoops work, lemme know[p][Edit by Rogue3000 on Thursday, December 11, 2003 @ 09:19 PM][br][p][Edit by Rogue3000 on Friday, December 12, 2003 @ 12:42 AM]

First of all my car is an 02. Second of all its stock hood with a AQUA reverse hoodscoop. Which sucks all the hot air out. And 3rd those are JDM OEM HID 'bug eye's.' The absolute PIMPEST lights for a GDA/B.[p]

hahahah so i'm assuming what i said was more or less correct? It sounded alright to me.... and norseone, rogue's right, you do have one of the tightest 02/03 rexes on this site, with the ganador mirrors, FMIC, JDM headlights, i love all that stuff, especially the mirrors, what sexy mirrors...

Yeah what you said is correct. No use for a big old air dam hoodscoop with an FMIC.[p]Thanks.
