[p]She digs the young 04 rex. I hope she doesn't think I'm gonna replace her with the 02 I'm getting very soon! :notsure: [br]I gotta keep her to get all my crap home for the summer.

good point speedy, but i think if you rock the stock spoiler, no one will screw that up, i dont know, i really like the 04 headlights, especially when you remove the orange pieces. i like how they kinda recognize the GC8 heritage but have a modern outlook on it...

I really like the way the 04 lights look. The 02 and 03 defintly have the full race rally look. The 04 seems to look a little more sophisticaded (sp?). I'm glad I waited to get one. i thought about it for like 2 1/2 years before jumping in and buying one. I really like my 04 and want to do the headlight mod but I don't think I'll do my originals. I'll wait til I find some junkyard ones.

'04s look like they are going back to thier roots, the bug eyed cars were to dramatic a change from the GC8's..[p]As you can see Subaru thought the same, after putting out one type impreza for years, the Bug eyed GDA/B only last what 2 years state side, 3 overseas...

Hell, it's not even the headights. I don't like the funky parrot-like shape of the hood. It just looks odd. *points up at the banner* I dig the older Imprezas even more than the 02s, but I'll take stock power at this point.

I do like the idea of a 2 door. Much more sporty looking. Although I like the convienence of my 4 door. And the 01 and older looks rally as hell.
