I voted for looks to start - car is plenty fast in stock form. then they should go big with a s/c kit!

I voted for power, but more specifically it should be a balance of power and handling.

the M3 LOOKS fine bone stock, it needs better aesthetics in the handling and power catagories though.

also, while im sure supercharging is an enticing option, vivid should also consider staying normally aspirated. AC Schnitzer offers GREAT natural aspiration tuning kits. they also offer one of the best suspension systems available for the M3.

also, the M3 is quite heavy in stock form, some considerable weight reduction would make a world of difference in how the car responds at the limit. (think M3 CSL)

Also because my roomate has his SMG M3 and I would like to see the path that Vivid take modding their M3 up to give my roomate some ideas so he can keep up with me

The handling is already pritty damn good on those M3's. Make it go fast and when it gets to fast for its own good, make it handle better.
The car already looks great. Little changes are needed there.

Make it handle better so you can kick the higher powered cars in the ass when it comes to the twisty stuff. No better feeling then that.

Definately power first. Those cars handle pretty well right out of the box, and they look pretty sweet already too...

the two major draw backs the M3 has are its brakes and its steering.

you will quickly find out while driving hard that the brakes are far too weak to stop the car efficently (or safely for that matter) and the steering is lacking when it comes to feed back. the steering feels disconnected from the car.

before you throw too much power on that 3.2 liter, i suggest you look in to a quality brake package, stop tech offers one, i believe brembo does as well.

perhaps you could source some brembo f50 calipers for the front and f40 calipers for the rear.

I chose look, becuase the M3 already has enough power stock, not as much 2 keep up wit da WRX 2 but not far behind tho.
