I like the RS. I am going to be using a modded RS 2.5 short block in my WRX. It is hard to tell the difference between your RS and a WRX.

hey guys thanx for all the comments... all it does it make me work harder to build my car up to where it needs to be just to show you guys that it is that easy to build it... just like the saying goes "if you build it, they will come" well mines goes "if you build it, they will lose"... well hope you guys like it... and just to let you all know i have a full 2004 STI conversionon it and it does not look like the car in the second picture.. now its time for the motor to be worked on....

looks like you've done a lot of work to it. not too shabby.

as for your turbo kit . . . are you buying a premade one? or getting a custom one? either way. whoever told you you could run 450hp with just a turbo kit. def. missinformed you.

I drive a 03 2.5 ts and have looked into turboing extensively

stock the car is only 165hp. a turbo kit will only increase the hp by about 60-80 hp without internal mods to the engine. and the cost to actually run a reliable 450hp on our ej25 would probably be in upwards of 15k. (not including other necc. drivetrain upgrades)

looking for the most affordably route: engine swap.

I think its a little too much bling but, in your case where it is all show, it looks very nice. Good job on the looks, now, match power to it.

I will agree with DaddyB. It does cost a lot 15K+ to build a reliable 450hp engine.
