I also think it's funny that Honda painted the hood black. Looks to me as though they are trying to imitate a cf hood. But why? Its still a civic, I'll never understand. Maybe it's because I see too many of them by me, they all sound like little 100 cc dirtbikes in need of an engine rebuild. I don't know...

yeah, maybe i'm just not as annoyed by them because there really arn't many of them around that are riced out. Most people in my area have more expensive cars.

Id take it if I had a little more hp. I think its gonna have either the old RSX-S 2.0L 200hp motor or the TSX 2.4L 200hp motor. What they SHOULD do is keep making the 2.2L S2000 motor from the discontinued S2000 and drop it in that baby, then with 240hp Honda/Acura would be right there in the race with all the sport compacts instead of lagging behind.

What gets me though its the Brembo's, on a civic?! Same goes for Nissan and their Sentra SE-R Spec V. I bet these buyers wont know what they are getting themselves into. Once it comes time for brake replacement this simple maintenance is really gonna hit their wallet, I heard of numerous spec V owners complain about it when it came time for new brakes. The whole reason they bought the Sentra was because of its affordability and now the cost to maintain the car puts them out of budget. I know the EVO and STi owners have Brembos but to me, to buy them requires a higher income level (compared to economy car buyers) and a better understanding cause you guys know what you are getting into. Basic Factory brakes can work just as good (Car mags praise the SRT-4 and SVT Focus brakes and those are single piston Factory parts which are cheap to replace)

I test drove the Spec V with brembos and that thing was cool. The type S was sluggish. I also test drove the si and i thought that it was pretty for being the car it is.

It looks alright- nothing too exciting other than the TL ish front end. If Honda delivers on the powerplant and drivetrain it'll be a solid little car...

I have to admit, I'm a fan of the old 99-00 Si's- just a clean design and a engine with potential- what a Si should be.

I like it. I don't see it as a civic tho. I see civics as 4door econoboxes and that car there should be the next RSX. The current one is toooo short- and the Civic name actually degrades this car.

The current RSX is an Integra just renamed for the States to make it sound more fancy. They would have to call it something different if they released this new Civic under the Acura brand.

I really like Hondas, it's just the FWD that kills me. Solid little machines, though. I would totally buy one for a daily-driver.

I know about the whole integra to rsx changeover, i'm just saying- the RSX is due for revision- and all they did was change the headlights and wheels. They should take this civic, and badge it with Acura RSX, and boom- a better car just because of the badging.
