There is a meet there, but why go. They dont give a shit about you, they wont warranty anything on your car. Why do I say this, I have taken it up there and Robert Carter the GM of service and the Subaru rep are more interested in getting promoted then helping you out with problems. You all know about the clutch whining noise, well it is apparent in my car, but they say my intake is at fault. So I said, blow me....[p]They want to start selling performance OEM parts only, no aftermarket, so ideally they just want you to buy stuff and then still not help you. I say forget them!

I had a similar experience with Pitre. My car came with the factory (BS) alarm and they said if I removed it or put in a different one, my whole electric system warranty would be voided. they also said no aftermarket parts or the warranty's toast. That sucks my ass.

Yeah I think it is a general rule that dealerships have to be retarded about anything aftermarket. I was just curious to see if anyone was going since we locals can't seem to get a meet of our own going.

Sounds good to me... and I'm with Dan... I went in for the 3000 mile oil change and they told me my warranty on my powertrain was not valid because I had a BOV and a KN filter... and the exhaust system was also because I had an new rear muffler... BS all the way... I told them to change the oil and I'll deal with the problem later...

Besides the meet at the dealer on the 3rd, there will an night auto-x on the 10th at Firebird. There is usually a good showing of WRX and RS guys there, plus a lot of other nice cars.[p]Just in case anyone didn't know that was coming up.[p]Regards,[p]Aaron
