The new Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT offer plenty of stylish amenities. One of these being the factory halo light incorporated with the headlights. The issue is it is not a true halo light, it is simply an illuminated light tube which gives the halo effect.
Offering a true LED full halo, Diode Dynamics developed a kit to transform your headlights. With the kit, owners are given RGBW capabilities that allow thousands of color options. The lights can be controlled with an app on your smartphone that can easily be switched back to white for on-road use.
This kit uses the daytime running lights (DRL) to turn on and off with independent color control through the app. Featuring 132 high-power LEDs the halo ring is crisp and clean while displaying the whole range of colors. To maintain the bright display of color, each side has a constant-current driver to deliver maximum power to the units.
