The Porsche 911 has taken the hearts of many enthusiasts around the world. Elegant and unique styling gives the vehicle an unparalleled look when driving down the road. Still to this day, no other vehicle manufacturer has captured as much beauty in the styling than Porsche did with the 911. Not only appealing just by looks, but the performance from the 991 is astonishing as the Turbo S model produced a whopping 560 HP and 516 lbs/ft of torque from the factory.

Utilizing a 7-speed twin-clutch transmission paired with the 3.8L flat-six engine, the Porsche 991 Turbo S is quite the engineering marvel. While it certainly offered a thrill while driving, owners still sought after upgrades to enhance the performance and efficiency to improve the driving experience. This was especially the case for our customer who opted to go with an IPE Valvetronic exhaust system to unlock the full tonality of the blazing flat-six.

Being that the valving system is incorporated, our customer can enjoy a calm relaxing drive with the option to open it up at a moment’s notice. The high-quality stainless steel construction offers a unique tone while maintaining a tame acceleration without any raspy overtones or drones. Featuring elegant chrome tips, the IPE exhaust was an excellent combination for our customers Porsche Turbo S.

To minimize the effect of heat soak and to bring the intake air temperature down (IAT), an Alpha Performance intercooler kit was installed. The massive intercooler serves a valuable function as it maximizes the space within the compact wheel wells to reduce IAT and feed the engine the coldest air possible. Having a larger core efficiently reduces IAT as there is a larger surface area for the air to pass through, giving more opportunity for cooling across the core.

An IPD plenum was installed to increase the power band all around by 24 HP and give a much more snappy throttle response. The smooth transitioning inside the plenum permits optimal flow through the collector. Overall this Porsche 911 Turbo S was tastefully modified to increase the performance while maintaining a comfortable drive.
