Phase 11 – Switchin Up the Noise

Now that we have been driving around on the other brand of exhaust, it was time for us to switch gears and try something new. Will it make more horsepower? Does it sound different? Will we be loved? These are all important questions that we had thought to ourselves when contemplating the switch of the exhaust systems. So who else would we try then the German Car Exhaust pros, SuperSprint. We gave SuperSprint USA a call and we received both the midpipes and quad tip stainless steel exhaust for our M3.

The SuperSprint exhaust componenets are all stainless steel. They include all the necessary hardware for installation. As well, the quality of the welds, packing, and overall presentation is probably one of the best we have seen. All of this helps justified the hefty pricing that comes along with SuperSprint. But once installed, you will understand truly why you get what you pay for!

Most recognizable about the SuperSprint exhaust is the slash cut tips. The 4 tips fit snugly up in the rear diffuser for an incredibly beefy look over stock and the competition. Each muffler hangs easily from the stock mounting locations. The center pipes install just as easy in direct place of the factory units. Once bolted together, you now have a complete catback system that will flow, sound, and perform better then factory. Horsepower ratings differ, but are said to be around 20whp.

Final impressions… The SuperSprint Exhaust components are worth every dollar they cost. The quality and fit was amazing. The biggest improvement we found was the sound over the others. Providing a great raspy sound similar to that of Ferrari, but kept a nice quiet cabin at your regular 80mph cruising speed on the highway. We feel that for the true enthusiast, the SuperSprint exhaust system is the perfect direction to start modifing your BMW.
