Clever Mounting Solution for those who need to run a front License plate
There are several reasons that an owner of a WRX / STI may want to relocate their license plate bracket on their vehicle. The first reason is styling. Not everyone wants the plain Jane center mounted plate. Not only does this look boring, it can take away from the body line on the vehicle. The second reason is for those running a FMIC (Front mount intercooler) they have actually removed part of the bumper in order to optimize flow. This leaves no place to mount the current plate without drilling holes in the bumper.
Perrin has released a tow hook affixed plate mount to remedy these issues. You will not have to make any additional holes in your bumper to mount this to your vehicle. It is also adjustable so you can customize the exact placement where you want it on the vehicle. All the parts to get everything up and running are included in the kit.

Height and Angle Adjustable
The PERRIN Front License Plate Relocate can be adjusted up or down to get the exact look you want. Allows you to place the plate perfectly on your car regardless of bumper style or aftermarket accessories.
Mounts to OEM front Tow hook cutout
PERRIN’s Front License Plate Relocate attaches to the bumper through the front tow hook cutout on your Subaru. This mount supports the plate without the need for any screws or fasteners which can require additional holes in your bumper.
Contoured to the Bumper
The PERRIN Front License Plate Relocate is contoured to the bumper angle giving your plate equal spacing along the edge of your bumper.
Construction
The plate holder is made from laser cut plate aluminum which is texture powder coated in a wrinkle black finish. The tow hook adapter plates are CNC machined aluminum and anodized black for better corrosion resistance.
Sturdy
The plate holder is made of thick plate aluminum which is folded in a press break to add rigidity and eliminate any flex. It will not bend or flex under normal conditions like competitive parts.
