AEM has released its Infinity ECU (PN 30-7106) and Plug & Play Adapter Harness (PN 30-3550) for the 2002-2007 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa motorcycle. The Infinity ECU completely replaces the factory ECU and is quickly installed when combined with AEM’s Plug & Play Adapter Harness. It is also ideal for Hayabusa engine swaps into other race vehicles that retain the factory engine wiring harness. A base map for the engine is included to speed up the tuning process. The Infinity ECU supports the factory MAP sensor, AIT sensor and injectors. Injector upgrades can be made through the Wizard in InfinityTuner software.

Be sure to check out our entire lineup of AEM performance electronics here.

Full Dashboard Functionality
The Infinity ECU integrates with the GSX1300R Hayabusa’s serial datastream system to retain full dashboard functionality including the coolant temp gauge.

Closed-Loop Wideband Feedback Control
The Infinity ECU includes an on-board UEGO wideband air/fuel ratio (AFR) controller. A Bosch 4.2LSU UEGO sensor (PN 30-2001) is required and sold separately.

Ignition Coil Driver Included

AEM’s Four-Channel Ignition Coil Driver is included with this kit, and a connector for the coil driver is integrated into the 30-3550 GSX1300R Hayabusa wiring harness to ease installation.

Plug & Play Harness with Expansion Port
AEM’s Plug & Play harness for the Hayabusa includes an AEMnet port for communication with other AEMnet enabled devices.

An expansion port with a weatherproof 12-pin connector is included in the Plug & Play Adapter Harness for adding common aftermarket sensors including fuel and/or oil pressure (30-2130-150 150 PSI) and ethanol content (ethanol content sensor PN 30-2200 sold separately). Boost control is supported for aftermarket turbocharged Hayabusas (boost control solenoid PN 30-2400 recommended, sold separately). The expansion port also includes a sensor ground, 5v reference, power from relay and switched inputs for boost target, no-lift shift, etc.

Infinity ECU Features:

  • Airflow model based (VE) tuning
  • ECU Set Up Wizard simplifies start up
  • Flex fuel compatible
  • Multiple programmable boost control strategies
  • Multiple programmable engine protection strategies
  • Programmable individual cylinder knock control
  • Secondary injector control
  • Launch limiter
  • Rolling launch antilag
  • On-the-fly map switching
  • Single internal Lambda AFR controller
  • Dual knock sensing circuits
  • Data logging up to 64GB, logging rate up to 1KHz/channel
  • Outputs to 3rd party dashes and data loggers
  • Up to 480Mb/sec data transfer speed
  • Sealed enclosure and IP67 rated comms ports

The Infinity ECU makes state-of-the-art ECU technology affordable for both professional teams and amateur racers. Built around a latest-generation 32 bit floating point 200MHz automotive processor and Real Time Operating System (RTOS), the Infinity is capable of processing 400 MIPS (millions of instructions per second). To our knowledge, the Infinity ECU currently has the fastest processing speed of any aftermarket Motorsports ECU available. This processing speed combined with a RTOS provides more accurate ignition timing for increased power, more responsiveness to truly custom tailor the driving experience to the driver, allows the Infinity to perform more computational features without a sacrifice in processing performance, and enables tuning of features and sub strategies without affecting other features and sub strategies. It allows you to do more, faster, in a more stable programming environment.
