This Magnum FORCE Stage-2 XP Cold Air Intake System spotlights a 9-inch, 360-degree radial flow air filter with a 5-inch flange and aFe’s pre-oiled Pro 5R media. The Pro 5R filter has five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for optimal performance benefits. It gives your GM diesel engine the maximum amount of high-flowing air and delivers the highest power gains, in most cases. This type of media is ideal for street and/or track use. The inverter top also makes for a bigger filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals.
The massive air filter is surrounded by an open-element element XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) polymer one-piece housing that minimizes hot engine air for maximum performance. The open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter for maintenance purposes, yet creates a heat-blocking seal when your truck hood is closed. Generally speaking, open-element systems can sport larger filters and produce a bolder engine tone than other intake designs. The system also features a high-quality, computer-designed and dyno-tuned intake tube to help you achieve the maximum power gains possible. aFe’s XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable.
