The aFe Power Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System includes two different types of air filter media: the pre-oiled Pro 5R filter and the oil-free Pro DRY S filter. The 7-inch tall, 360-degree radial air filter features a 6-inch flange and one of the two aforementioned filter options. The Pro 5R comes with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media for maximum performance. It gives your V8 engine the largest amount of high-flowing air for the most power gains possible. This filter is ideal for street and/or track use. The inverted top also makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer times between servicing.
The Pro DRY S media comes with three layers of synthetic media for maximum convenience. Its progressive layering offers exceptional filtration efficiency and dust-holding capacity, while not requiring the use of any oils. This media is mainly suited for street use. Both massive air filters are surrounded by an open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing that minimizes warm engine air for optimal performance.
The Magnum FORCE Stage-2 intake features a unique open design that allows for easy inspection of the air filter, while still creating a heat-blocking seal when the Mustang’s hood is closed. The dyno-tuned intake tube achieves maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Furthermore, this system utilizes the Mustang GT’s OE air inlet with no additional hardware required. In addition to featuring all necessary fittings for the stock connections, it’s the first tube designed with a molded version of aFe Power’s motorsport-inspired logo.
