aFe Power’s Pro Series rear differential cover checks all the boxes when it comes to structural rigidity, resisting physical elements, and dissipating heat effectively. These diff covers are crafted from durable cast aluminum with reinforced ribs for a high-strength construction that will last you for the long run. The built-in internal and external fins transfer heat from the oil to the outside air for maximum cooling. Dual neodymium magnetic plugs (a magnetic drain and deep reach fill plug) are also used to capture loose particles and ensure the best possible gear protection. These rear diff covers feature a pre-installed large oil level sight glass to allow for quick and easy oil inspection. A calibration plug is set to the Ford Bronco’s factory oil levels to prevent overfilling.
The aFe Power Pro Series rear differential cover has an increased oil capacity over stock for better performance over a longer duration. There are currently three Pro Series differential covers available for the Bronco: a raw finish, a black powder-coated finish with machined fins, and an option that includes the latter with three quarts of PRO Guard HD synthetic 75W-90 oil. The supplied gear oil far exceeds the performance requirements of API GL-5 recommended for both open and limited slip applications.
