The aFe Super Stock Induction System comes with your choice of either the Pro 5R Filter or the Pro DRY S Filter. The former is made with five layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze designed to offer maximum performance. The progressive layering allows this filter to flow at high levels even with captured dirt particles. The Pro 5R media is best suited for street and/or track applications. Furthermore, it can easily be recharged with aFe’s Power Cleaner and blue air filter oil (sold separately). The Pro 5R filter outflows the stock Ford Mustang filter by 24 percent. With it, you can expect to gain 7 horsepower and 6 pound-feet of torque.
The Pro DRY S filter media is a top choice for street use and can also be refreshed with the Power Cleaner. This type of filter has three layers of oil-free synthetic media and does not need any oil during maintenance to provide added convenience. Its unique layering provides exceptional filtration benefits and dust holding capabilities. The Pro DRY S filter outflows the factory filter by 13 percent. With it, you will get an additional 5 horsepower and 5 pound-feet of torque.
