The Ultimate Brake Upgrade for the CLA45 AMG from Agency Power
Let’s face it, the factory brakes on the CLA45 AMG by Mercedes Benz are quite beefy units. With a 4 piston front design and large diameter rotors, these things do their job when it comes to stopping. The main issue that most people run into is the overall weight of the unit. To help with un-sprung mass and to further reduce braking times Agency Power has created a full bolt on upgrade for these models.
The Factory front rotors come in at over 27lbs which is alot of weight for a single rotor. Since rotational mass will affect everything from steering to acceleration to braking, lightening up these parts is crucial to performance. The new 2-piece fronts from Agency Power come it at around 19lbs which is a weight savings of 7.8lbs per corner. This difference in weight will be instantly noticeable when you step on the gas or brake pedal. The Drilled rotors and curved vanes help to dissipate heat quickly and efficiently. Also included in the kit are a set of stainless lines for the ultimate pedal feel and performance brake pads to aid in stopping.
