Agency Power Releases New Short Throw Shifter for MK3 Focus RS

Although Ford did a fantastic job making the Focus RS a true performance car with its advanced all-wheel-drive system, sophisticated suspension setup, and balanced chassis dynamics, other parts of the Focus RS are less than ideal. The Focus RS is based on an economy car and parts of the interior reflect that. Specifically, the OEM shifter does not feel all that good. It’s far from a terrible shifter, but it’s not an excellent shifter, mostly because of the long shift throws. For those who want to make their shifter feel perfect, they need a short throw shifter, and that’s exactly what Agency Power just brought to market

This new short throw shifter from Agency Power separates itself from other shifters on the market by offering adjustability in the amount of shift throw reduction. Ranging from 5%, 15%, and 22% shift throw reduction, you can give your shifter the feel that’s perfect for you! When combined with the Agency Power transmission adapter plate, shift throws can be reduced by as much as 45% compared to stock! On top of the reduction in shift throw, the short throw shifter reduces the height of the shifter with 1” which puts it in a more ideal position.

This shifter will work with either an aftermarket shift ball or the OEM shift ball. The shifter is constructed from high quality 1018 Carbon Steel with a Delrin reverse lockout. Overall, this short throw shifter is a great addition to any Focus RS. It’s perfect for street or track use, and it gives the Focus RS a much more premium feel.
