Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust System for the Mercedes C63S AMG

Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust System for the Mercedes C63S AMG

Give your C63S the Sound and performance it Craves with A Titanium Evolution Exhaust System

The new C63S is a force to be reckoned with. The Bi-Turbo V8 power plant and sleek new styling makes for one bad sports sedan. Now that the C63 has forced induction, freeing up the exhaust path allows for better performance gains and an improved exhaust note. This specific exhaust is constructed from quality titanium, which gives it a distinct noise over standard stainless style system. Titanium also allows for a light weight construction which will shed pounds off the vehicles mass. The Akrapovic system allows for the use of factory valves or in certain applications their very own sound kit. This allows users to customize the noise level via electronically controlled exhaust valves. Check out the video posted below as well as the tech spec sheet listed at the bottom. This is one of the very best performance exhaust systems that money can buy!

For any questions regarding this exhaust system please contact a sales specialist either by phone 1.480.966.3040 or by email Sales@Vividracing.com. To Check out entire catalog of Akrapovic products, CLICK HERE.

Akrapovič Evolution Line Exhaust

Perfectly formed using specially developed ultra-lightweight titanium alloys and finished with hand-crafted matte carbon-fiber tailpipes, this beautifully designed system is designed to replace either the base stock exhaust or the performance stock exhaust system for the Mercedes-Benz C63 S AMG Sedan and Estate.

The Evolution Line exhaust system consists of two mufflers both incorporating titanium valves, which are cast in Akrapovič’s in-house foundry and has the unique active X-connection fitted to it. Also built in the in-house foundry, the ultralight active X-connection contains a valve flap in the middle designed to provide optimal sound and performance results in all of the car’s modes.

The active X-connection offers two defined sound characteristics and three different driving sound settings. In Comfort and Sport mode, the X-connection is open, which yields a more continuous and refined sound with higher frequencies.

The rear valves are closed at low revs in Comfort mode for a quieter and more comfortable ride, and in Sport mode the rear valves are usually open, which delivers a sporty but still refined sound with enhanced higher frequencies.

In Sport+ and Race mode, the middle valve is closed and the rear valves are open. The system is perfectly tuned by Akrapovič’s sound engineers to maximize the sound output and give the cars a sporty and intense muscle car V8 roar, without losing any of the typical AMG sound and appeal.

Improved Performance and Delivery

Performance has also been increased over stock systems with the Evolution Line system, delivering an extra 8 HP at 2,000 rpm and an impressive boost of torque at 1,850 rpm of 20.6 lb-ft. This added performance, allied with a huge weight savings of over 45% compared to the stock base system, makes the Evolution Line a very impressive addition to the car, as well as aiding handling due to the reduced weight.

MERCEDES-AMG C63 (type 205)

Because it is CARB-approved with no need to remap the ECU or add any other parts, it is just a simple plug-and-play installation.

Akrapovič Sound & Valve Actuator Kit

If the Akrapovič Evolution Line system replaces the stock performance exhaust system, the Valve Actuator Kit (P-HF985) is not required. The valves on the exhaust can be controlled from the car cabin. The Akrapovič Sound Kit (P-HF949) can be purchased as an optional part.

If the car is not equipped with a performance exhaust but with the basic exhaust system instead, the Valve Actuator Kit (P-HF985) is mandatory. The Akrapovič Sound Kit (P-HF949) is also highly recommended for complete control over exhaust sound regulation.

Due to the PPF on the face lift C63S I am told the exhaust sound of AKraPovic is only increased
by @ 10-15% ( Ditto the Milltech). Is this correct ?. I don’t want to have the PPF removed as this will make the car illegal, affect MOT and remaining warranty. Appreciate your insights. TKY
