aFe Power has just released its new BladeRunner Aluminum Hot and Cold Charge Pipe Kit for the 2015-2020 Volkswagen GTI. With that, there was also an optional Charge Pipe Kit with Muffler Delete for GTI (MKVII) models with the L4-2.0L (t) engine. Now, the popular performance company introduces its BladeRunner Turbo Muffler Delete Kits for both OE and its own aFe Charge Pipes. So, you can opt to replace your Volkswagen’s cast turbo muffler with the BladeRunner oversized billet aluminum turbo muffler delete package. And if you already have the aFe Charge Pipes installed, you can enhance the vehicle’s overall flow with the accompanying muffler delete kit.

The OE kit outflows the Volkswagen GTI’s factory turbo muffler by 5 percent, while the aFe variant outflows it by 7 percent. The latter also delivers dyno-proven gains of up to +8 horsepower and +10 pound-feet of torque. Both of the BladeRunner Turbo Muffler Delete Kits for the 2015-2020 GTI will also fit the Golf R and Jetta GLI, as well as the Audi A3 and S3 (see fitment below for more details).
This product includes an oversized two-piece 2-1/4″ billet aluminum turbo muffler delete with a straight-through oversized design that immensely increases the car’s flow and sound by creating a smooth transition between the turbo and intercooler tube. The Turbo Muffler Delete from aFe is CNC machined from quality 6061-T6 aluminum and then finished in a red anodized coating with a laser-etched logo for added styling, superior strength, and long-lasting durability.
