Toyota hinting towards a fifth-generation Supra seemed to be a fluke to some enthusiasts. Many considered the fourth-gen Supra to be the last of its kind as there has not been any word of a new chassis in years. With the release of the GT-86, enthusiasts started having hope of more performance vehicles from Toyota.

After almost a 20-year hiatus, Toyota dropped the Mark V Supra. The new B58 engine under the hood has various similarities to the predecessor’s engine but does not glorify it as most would have hoped for. Being a turbocharged 3.0L straight-six, it is a powerhouse waiting to be unleashed but does not offer enough satisfaction for owners.

Injen developed a cold air intake for the A90 Supra to provide optimal airflow to the engine. The factory B58 intake seems too restrictive which can rob the engine of potential power. Installing the all-new Injen cold air intake will improve performance, provide a distinct induction growl, and also gives the Supra a little extra kick.

Installing the intake is a simple bolt-on solution that won’t require modification for proper fitment. Utilizing four-inch 6061-T6 aluminum, airflow is increased without interruptive turbulence within the intake which is a common issue for vehicles using mass airflow sensors (MAF). Turbulence around the MAF sensor can cause check engine lights, prevent the vehicle from starting, or even put it in limp mode.

Injen ensures that none of the above happens after installing this intake. This intake is offered in three different finishes, including polished, wrinkle black, and wrinkle red. After installation, owners can experience up to 15 hp increase, as well as, 17 lbs/ft of torque.
