Honda stepped up the game of the Si badge for the 10th-generation Civic. Introducing the 1.5L turbocharged inline-four and a six-speed manual transmission, the new Si holds true to its roots while incorporating modern technology advancements. Owners have been pleased with the overall performance, although they feel the exhaust is lacking.
Due to regulations and appeal to age demographics, the Civic Si has a highly restrictive exhaust. This takes all the excitement and thrills out of driving a turbocharged vehicle. Owners want the ability to hear their engine and turbo working when they plant their foot to the floor.
Since the factory exhaust was not cutting it, Remark developed a catback exhaust system for the FC1 Civic Si Sedan and FC3 Si Coupe. Constructed of 16-gauge T304 stainless steel tubing, this exhaust system significantly reduces restriction. This is achieved by the mandrel-bent 3-inch piping which allows the gasses to flow freely.
With the installation of this catback system, the integrated high flow mufflers provide a rich exhaust tone. This design also reduces weight versus the factory mufflers. As a product of Remarks high-quality hand welding, this exhaust system is a bolt-on fit in the factory location.
