In case you missed it, last year Volk Racing released the “Time Attack” version of their popular ZE40 wheel which had a unique black and red color combo. Following the success of that wheel, Volk Racing will be releasing a “Time Attack” version of their TE37 Saga wheel! This color features a simple Matte Black color and Volk’s original technology REDOT (machining and painting technology). Sizes include 17” and 18” with a range of offsets and lug patterns to fit many JDM applications.
Just like the standard TE37 Saga, the TE37 Saga Time Attack uses a fully forged construction. Forged wheels begin their life as a solid piece metal which is referred to as billet. This solid piece undergoes massive amounts of heat and pressure to form it into the desired shape which is used for different wheel designs. Once this desired shape has been achieved, the forging is placed in a CNC machine where is machined into the exact shape needed. The result is a super strong and light wheel, which is what makes the TE37 Saga so incredibly popular.
