Tomei has been one of the biggest names in the JDM aftermarket industry in the past 40 years. They continue to innovate and develop new products for new platforms, but they also continue to develop new parts for older platforms. Nissan’s RB26DETT engine is one of the most famous Japanese engines of all time, best known for its ability to make huge amounts of power with simple mods. Thanks to Tomei, this just got even easier with their all-new cast manifold for the RB26DETT.

You might be thinking “Why would I buy an aftermarket cast manifold if the OEM unit is cast?” This is an excellent point, by using a cast design for an aftermarket exhaust manifold actually has quite a few large advantages. For one, the cast design is cheaper, helping keep the cost of the product down. Tubular manifolds are also much more prone to cracking, resulting in massive headaches down the road. Cast manifolds typically have a very short design which can help spool the turbos faster, as less heat is wasted in the system.

  • Made from strong SUS304, full lost-wax cast structure
  • Optimized design compared to the OEM unit, resulting in more power
  • Faster turbo spool
  • Extremely high build quality
  • Ports much larger than stock for more flow
  • 0.5Kg lighter per exhaust manifold than the stock unit

If you want the most horsepower possible, then a tubular exhaust manifold is a great option. With a tubular exhaust manifold, however, you are more likely to run into cracking and you’ll pay a much higher price. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
