These typically take signals from specific engine sensors such as the mass air flow sensor, ignition, boost, O2 sensors, and other sensors, and modified the signal before sending it to the ECU. A tuning box effectively tells the ECU it’s not making enough power, forcing it to be a little bit more aggressive which increases power. Some systems do this better than others, and the VR Tuned tuning box has long been a popular option, as it’s proven to be an easy way to get reliable power from your car. There has been one feature that you guys keep asking for, and that’s Bluetooth connectivity. We heard your requests, and now all VR Tuned tuning boxes are optional Bluetooth connectivity.
With this Bluetooth connectivity, you are able to monitor what your car is doing right on your phone. Gone are the days of bulking handheld tuners or OBD scanners. On top of that, if you’re tuning box supports multiple driving modes you will be able to easily switch between them right in the app. You can stay in Eco mode when you’re commuting and quickly switch to Sport mode when you need to put the hammer down. Of course, if this isn’t something you want you don’t have to buy it, that’s why we made it optional. But for those of you who do want it, it will be available on ALL VR Tuned tuning boxes!
