Taking a completely stock vehicle off-road can sometimes work out in your favor. Most vehicles are specifically designed to handle rough terrain without the worry of getting stuck. One issue many owners experience is lighting at night. Due to the factory lights being for illuminating directly in front of the vehicle, owners find themselves having difficulty with seeing further down the path.

ARB developed the ARB Intensity Solis Spot Light to assist with illuminating the trail far in advance. Not only do bright lights help other people identify another vehicle but they also prevent any collisions with other drivers or rubble on the path. When hauling through a trail, the factory lights only show what is about 300 feet ahead.

Even a vehicle using high beams can only see 500 feet ahead which is roughly one block. Being that vehicle lights are intended to give drivers optimal time to stop on the pavement, the distance significantly increases on the dirt. A vehicle off-road isn’t capable of stopping in the same distance on the pavement which is why lighting is stressed so highly when off-roading.

The ARB spotlight produces 18,178 raw lumens with a current draw of 13.2-volts and 12.4-amps. The waterproof plug provides security knowing that the wires won’t corrode over time which can cause shorting and possibly fire. With the incorporation of the 5-stage dimmable digital touchpad, owners are able to reduce the light output when needed.
