After years of visiting the Middle East to provide support for their American Racing Headers products, ARH has delivered one product which nobody else has, but everyone will want! ARH presents the new Nissan Patrol 5.6L V8 and straight 6 cylinder 4.8L headers. The Nissan Patrol is popular in the Middle East, Asia, New Zealand, and other non USA regions as a beefy 4×4 SUV. The straight 6 cylinder is bullet proof with guys making 2000 horsepower on these cars. The V8 is similar to the USA Infiniti QX56, the 5.6L V8 engine makes a stout 400HP and 560NM of torque. The Gen 6 started in 2010 and goes to the current 2015 model. The straight 6 cylinder Gen 5 has a 4.8L which made its first appearance in 2002. The new ARH header has a unique 6 into 1 collector to mimic the firing order of the engine. Both the 5.6L and 4.8L headers will fit LHD and RHD vehicles.
To manufacture these headers in the USA, ARH had one of their clients in the Middle East ship them their 4.8L SUV. They did all the R&D, prototyping, and dyno testing on this product. The truck was bone stock that was tested. What was unfortunate was that it would’ve made more power if the rev limiter was higher than the stock setting of 5200 rpm. You can see the power was still climbing! American Racing Headers offers you to purchase this as a header and connecting pipe only for owners wanting to use their stock catback on the 4.8L or for those with the 5.6L you can purchase a complete system.
