The Velos Designwerks D5 directional wheel is the most advanced wheel and boldest design from Velos’ forged wheel lineup. The D5 is a true directional wheel, which means that both sides of the vehicle will have wheels facing the same way. The D5 introduces new weight reductions throughout its entire design, including an undercut behind the spokes.
The Velos D5 concave profile, one-piece wheel offers a more aggressive and sporty look both sporty and exotic car applications. It was specifically manufactured for the auto enthusiast who does not wish to sacrifice drivability. With this goal in mind, the D5 includes engineering features to help reduce unsprung mass in order to optimize overall weight without compromising strength. Each wheel is produced for your specific vehicle according to your car’s make, model, modifications, and desired wheel size. The Velos Designwerks D5 is available in several finishes to fit your car and taste, and is available in diameters ranging from 19″ to 24″. All Velos forged wheel styles are also available in 1, 2, and 3-piece configurations.
The beautiful blue Audi S5 below was worked on by GMP Performance. It was paired with a set of 20-inch (20×10.5) Velos D5 wheels wrapped around Pirelli tires. The customer opted for the 2-piece configuration with 50/50 Peeka Blue hardware, in a brushed candy gold and clear gloss finish.
