AutoTecknic has just released their competition steering paddle shifters (PN #: PR-0007) for the Porsche 997.2 and 991.1 steering wheel. They understand the goals of all car enthusiasts – to go as fast as possible while maintaining safety and a comfortable position in the driver’s seat. That is what makes this the perfect item for street and track use. These shift paddles feature a dynamic surface design that enhances the overall aesthetic look of your Porsche’s interior.

When it comes to operating a vehicle, the driver is at optimum control when they become one with the car. In order to bring that concept to a reality, AutoTecknic has developed these extended competition-style paddle shifters. This product will allow you to shift better and faster at a noticeable rate.

During the meticulous development process, AutoTecknic aimed to craft a set of paddles that would maximize the communication between the driver, steering wheel, and PDK clutch transmission. In order to achieve this goal, their paddles have been designed to be 40% bigger in comparison to tho OEM ones. In addition to that, the shape of these competition paddles is perfectly matched to the exact contours of the steering wheel to provide optimal feedback for perfect shifts each and every time!

Available Colors: Silver Alloy and Steel Gray. Custom colors available upon request.

I have a 2010 Porsche 997.2 Turbo pdk with a standard multifunction steering wheel. Will your paddle shift work on this wheel which has the buttons on the wheel to change gears manually?

Awesome car! I had one and they are beasts with our ECU tune and a exhaust. You cannot use any paddles with the multifunction wheel. You need to switch to the sport design steering wheel with paddles. I have a new PDK sport steering wheel that I can sell you for $1200 plus shipping and then add the paddles for you. Here is a good video on someone swapping theirs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C53ZffiVSg0. If interested, email me directly, dan at vividracing dot com.
