Improve the Noise and Performance of your B58 Equipped 5 Series
Remus has just announced its new axle-back exhaust system for the new BMW G30 540i. This luxury sedan is equipped with BMW’s new turbocharged straight 6 engine which is named the B58. This engine provides tons of low end torque while being fairly fuel efficient. One issue that enthusiasts are running into is lack of sound from the exhaust. The BMW straight 6’s have always had a unique metallic noise even with a turbo charger attached. With the stock exhaust installed, you get almost no feedback in audible form.
The Remus axle-back exhaust brings life back into the new 540i, offering two different options depending on how loud you want the exhaust to be. The sport system offers improved noise all around which will not get overly loud while cruising. The Race system adds a little more noise due to lack of added resonators. Both systems offer a great improvement and in axle-back form they are still comfortable for daily driving.
