BMW M3 20 inch Wheels are a great upgrade for your E90, E92 M3. They are also very fitting on the new F80, F82 M3 and M4. Selecting a good 20 inch wheel for the M3 really is not hard, but picking the color and style of wheel is what will rack your brain. To make this simpler, we have our Wheel App that allows you to take a side shot of your car and place wheels on it. But before you get to that point, you should consider the options for the BMW M3. 20 inch wheels come in either 3 piece or 1 piece forged. You can also get 1 piece cast wheels which are much cheaper. Typically BMW M3 owners go for the forged wheels because they are lighter, stronger, and last in case of any impact. 1 piece forged wheels in 20 inch are very light and strong. However with a 1 piece there is no lip to them and the concavity is limited. A typical set of 20 inch BMW M3 wheels would be 20×9 and 20×11. We rand this same setup on our Project BMW M3 V8. Forged wheels in this size are usually about 21lbs for the front and 24lbs for the rear. A 3 piece wheel even if it has had lighted spoke pockets and titanium hardware will be slightly heavier. With a 3 piece wheel you can get a very deep step or reverse lip on the wheels. If you choose to have the forged centers come out to the outside lip edge, you can maximize the concavity of the wheel. With the BMW M3 being rear wheel drive, you have more options to go with on tires. Some M3 owners have gotten a 305 on the rear. But typically a 275-295 is used. The front tire can be a 245-265. As with most aftermarket wheels, the offsets are done to push the wheels further out towards the fender edge to give you a flush look. Whenever you spec out a new forged wheel set, you want to make sure you mention anything related to big brakes, the cars ride height, and tire choices to avoid any potential of rubbing.
There are a handful of companies that make great 20 inch wheels for the BMW M3 that are forged, stylish, lightweight, and very functional. We recommend checking out one of these companies when it comes to choosing your BMW m3 20 inch wheel setup: HRE Wheels, Niche Wheels, Vorsteiner Wheels, ADV1 Wheels, Volk Racing Wheels.

Hi
Do i have to do any adjustments if I replace my bmw f82 M4 with new 20” wheels??
I mean toe or chamber adjustment??
If you’re just replacing the wheels then nothing will need to be changed. It is recommended to get an alignment whenever changing tires or wheels though.
