BMW X5 Turbo Diesel E70 with Performance Tuning Box Kit

The BMW X5 diesel is one of the hidden gems of the large SUV world out there. The turbo diesel X5 provides incredible torque and high fuel economy, along with the iconic luxury sporty feel of the BMW chassis.

One particular customer came to us wanting more power for his car and for it to feel faster on the street. We recommended the plug-and-play tuning box, which is a great way to improve speed and power on the BMW X5 35D U.S. model. The XDrive35D comes stock with 265hp and 425ft/lbs of torque. After installing the tuning box, the SUV can reach up to 358hp and nearly 500ft/lbs of torque! Check out the install photos below and read more about the VR Tuned BMW X5 XDrive35D tuning box here.

Features:

  • Plug and Play for easy removal to avoid warranty issues
  • Designed for turbocharged vehicles only
  • Does not lock to vehicle or VIN
  • Harness has OEM style connectors, no splicing or cutting
  • Tuning Box features an aluminum weatherproof case
  • Digital Microprocessor Controlled

I have a 2010 BMW X5 35d (143000 miles, so out of warranty now) and giving me fits with low or incorrect DEF fluid. Can you help me with a tune-up to get away from some of the emission problems areas the dealer will not help me with? Are make any suggestions to keep this Diesel running strong. I do not even want to add more power, just make it more reliable to keep me going strung. I like the car, but the dealer is telling me to spend more money than I can to keep it running now-THANKS for any help in advance too-Jim Kyle

    I need HELP!!
    I own a 2010 BMW Diesel X5 35D.
DPF Delete, SCR delete, EGR Delete, Swirl flaps removed, Unobtanium Downpipe with custom resonators and custom 3″ exhaust. I need a re-tune. Getting an engine light and a re-tune is recommended.

    Please help.

    Hello

    I have a 2013 35d that I want to upgrade

How does your product compare with a Malone stage 2 system? Do you have the straight pipe DPF delete option and swirl flap delete?
My BMW is currently in the second year of my 48k /2 year extended warranty it had about 103k miles now

    Thanks

Unfortunately, this tuning kit is no longer available. If you would like, you can shoot an email over to our tuning team at tuning@vividracing.com and we can see if there is a file we can build for you.

    Hi,
    I have 2017 bmw x5d.
I have extended warranty, and wondering if the tuning kit will work with all the emission components still on vehicle?
Of does all of that have to come off first?
    Thx
