First are the new low profile seat mounts. There is a problem Corvette owners have been running into while installing aftermarket seats. Usually when everything is properly mounted and affixed, the seating position is too tall. These seat mounts allow for the lowest position available, for more clearance and better driving position. Perfectly aligned to install in the stock mounting position, this makes the installation of aftermarket seats a breeze!

Another necessary item for the track is a safety harness to hold you in place. In order to mount a harness properly, you need a harness bar to affix the shoulder belts. The Brey Krause harness bar is a perfectly crafted piece that mounts to factory points in the vehicle. Everything comes included for proper installation. You can choose to trim the factory plastic or simply leave it off while in use. Installation for this item is also very quick and direct.

The last item offered by Brey Krause is an lap belt mounting kit. This allows for the aftermarket lap belts to be installed right where the factory belt clip is mounted. For this installation, you can leave in the factory seat belt mounts in case you decides to remove your harness.

Seat Mount Kit Corvette C7 2014-16

Brey-Krause offers an innovative solution for race seat mounting in Corvette C6 and C7 coupes, including Z06. The R-9153 includes a complete assembly for simple installation and adjustment flexibility. Brey-Krause race seat side mounts and aftermarket sliders mount directly to this floor pan kit. The integrated sub-bar is adjustable for proper 5 or 6-point sub-strap routings. This design allows for reuse of stock 3-point belts and provides inboard/outboard 4/5/6 point harness lap belt mounting locations.

These Seat Track Adapters are specifically designed to address the height issue seen in Corvette C7’s. These adapters install the seats in the lowest possible position with sliders in order to allow a wider range of seats to fit in the C7’s. This mount will still not allow for taller seats (example, Recaro SPGxl) to be used since the cockpit of C7’s is not large enough. The incline in the Adapter allows for the seat to be positioned in the lowest spot possible when the seat is in its most rearward position. As the seat slides forward the height of the seat will increase. In order to place the seat in the lowest position on the sliders a cut in the carpet must be made.

Harness Bar Mount C7 Corvette 2014-16

The C7 harness mount bar has been tested and certified using all possible mounting points by an independent lab to handle the types of forces required by the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin. DOT and SAE J385 Rev. MAR 95, Motor Vehicle Seat Belt Anchorages-Performance Requirements.

Note: Because of mounting locations in the C7, the b-pillar plastic sail panel covers will require slot on either side to be cut. Sail panels replacements can be ordered from your GM Dealer, part 23176134 for driver side, and part 23176135 for passenger side if you do not want to cut the original panels. Strength requirements for harness mounts are considerably greater than those for harness guide bars since they must support the entire load applied to the belts.
