Modifying a car can sometimes be essential for making efficient power and putting those gains to use on the track. One of the most common and fairly simple upgrades for your vehicle is an exhaust system. By replacing this, it will eliminate back pressure that can be problematic when increasing power output.
APR developed a catback exhaust system for the 2019-2020 Volkswagen GTI and GTI TCR to let the turbocharged 2.0L engine expel exhaust fumes efficiently. Constructed of T304 Stainless Steel, the exhaust system uses 3″ diameter tubing that splits to dual 2.5″ tube to mount the two 4″ tips. Featuring an ultra-smooth cast collector for the Y-section, the exhaust is precision mandrel bent to fit tight against the underside of the car making it suitable for lowered cars.
Utilizing heavy-duty brackets and OEM style hardware throughout the system, it is a guaranteed fit with no shakes or rattles. The muffler included allows the exhaust to breathe without adding any rasp or drone. With the sections being easily removable, it allows for the ultimate customization of sound.
