Forged Monoblok Rim (FMR) is HRE’s proprietary one-piece aluminum forged barrel technology. In order to create the new wheels in this series, HRE utilized the same process and the same material (6061-T6 forged aluminum) as in their one-piece wheel forgings. The method and materials were applied to a forged wheel center to create the finest two-piece forged wheel on the automotive market today. The HRE FMR barrel offers reduced mass, higher concentricity, and greater stiffness, while also eliminating the air seal required of traditional three-piece wheels.

The S101SC wheel features aggressive styling similar to the popular Monoblok P1SC by HRE Wheels. It also employs multiple technical design features that allow for increased stiffness and reduced mass. In typical HRE fashion, special attention was paid to the S101SC wheel’s spoke details, including intersection points and the fastener flange surfacing. It’s a strikingly handsome wheel available in numerous finishes to suit your taste and complement the aggressive appeal of the new C8 Corvette.
