This guy Adam gets to have a blast in his Corvette Z06 as he was part of a film that had him drifting his Vette around a skid pad with a couple Formula Mazda cars and a Porsche 997 GT3. But as a follower of ours on Instagram, we noticed Adam’s ride because of the parts he has on his Z06. This is not just some loud exhaust look at me American muscle. This is a purpose built machine with some pretty nice parts. What we noticed first was Adam’s custom white StopTech big brakes. Running the 6 piston caliper kit up front, the rear was fitted with their 4 piston kit. Making sure he could stop all his power were a set of Hawk DTC70/60 brake pads. All the handling was kept balanced with a set of Penske 8300 coilovers, and those are no joke! LG Motorsports made sure that he did not have to much over or under steer by installing a set of their G1 sway bars. With the Pfadt solid engine and tranny mounts, the chassis was super firm.
LPE made some power with their 90mm MAF pipe and cold air intake kit. LG Motorsports came back in the mix with a set of their long tube headers. A FAST 102 intake manifold and a ARE 2.5 dry sump system were all attached to this 2011 LS7 crate engine. But getting the power to the ground required a beefy clutch and Adam went with a RPS twin carbon clutch with lightweight flywheel. Thow in a Cobra carbon fiber seat, stick on a APR ZR1 carbon splitter and attach a ZR1 trunk spoiler, you have 1 badass Corvette! Check out these photos and watch this video as it is AWESOME!
