One performance part that has stuck even with newer technology available, is the Limited Slip Differential (LSD). These items when installed will mechanically lock the differential they are installed in. What does this mean for drivers? They get increased grip, in pretty much every situation. They work by allowing a certain percent of “Slip” until they fully or partially lock in order to keep both wheels spinning.
