Customer Spotlight: 2014 Porsche Cayman S

Pretty much all enthusiasts know that Porsche makes some of the best drivers cars in the world. The 911 is without a doubt Porsche’s crowned jewel, but some of us prefer the smaller and cheaper Cayman. Out of the box, the Cayman is slower than the 911, however, with some modifications it can really give its big brother a good fight.

One of our recent customers just picked up a whole bunch of mods for his 2014 Cayman S build, and it’s coming out absolutely amazing! To start, the entire vehicle has a GT4 Club Sport wrap with Satin Black, Satin Dark Grey, Cosmic Blue, and Metallic Grey. Up front is a GT4 front bumper with a carbon fiber lip and on the sides are some Vorsteiner GT4 side splitters. Around back is a Vorsteiner carbon fiber rear diffuser, a set of GTS taillights, and a TechArt rear spoiler. Finishing up the exterior are some LED side markers and a set of beautiful Avant Garde F431 wheels.

For performance, nothing too crazy was done. Helping the Cayman sit a little bit lower and handle a little bit better is a set of Bilstein coils. The exhaust system is compromised of Soul Performance headers and a Borla exhaust. Finishing everything up is an IPD intake plenum and a GT3 throttle. In the near future will be a roll cage to improve safety and chassis rigidity. Also in the near future will be some carbon fiber bucket seats.

Our customer has a lot of work into his Cayman S, and we absolutely love the build thus far. Here’s what our customer has to say: “I bought the side skirt splitters, diffuser, IPD plenum, and GT3 throttle through Austin Smith from Vivid Racing. Great company for parts.”

If you have any questions about this Cayman S, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can be reached by phone at 1.480.966.3040 or via email at [email protected].
