When it comes to building a show car, it can be difficult to stand out from the rest. Many cars you find at big shows are widebody, deep-dish wheels, bagged, with virtually everything modified. One thing that typically remains stock is the steering wheel.
Whether the owner does not want to lose the airbags or is not aware of aftermarket steering wheels, it is the most overlooked component. An easy way to transform your interior is by replacing the steering wheel. Most aftermarket options completely eliminate the factory airbag which is highly unsafe.
Our customer @athena20_18 installed a custom steering wheel that retains the airbag but offers complete customization. The orange 12 O-Clock ring ties together the overall color theme of the car topped off with piano black trim. For ultimate comfort, she opted to go with perforated leather hand grips.
Orange stitching holds everything together offers a subtle touch of color as the rest of the interior portrays the theme. This custom steering wheel compliments this Dodge Challenger while retaining the factory airbag. A steering wheel like this stands out much more than a typical 3 spoke deep dish with a quick release.
