With the release of the new Toyota GT86, every jdm enthusiast cried tears of joy. After Toyota was in a hiatus from manufacturing performance-oriented vehicles, the GT86 hit the market hard. Reviving and paying homage to the AE86 this new chassis was groundbreaking for Toyota.
Immediately after its release, the GT86 began receiving tons of aftermarket support. With new builds coming out left and right it started becoming one of Toyota’s most popular cars to modify. Showing up to a car show will guarantee a few of them sitting in the parking lot with some sort of modification done.
Being that this new chassis took the tuner community by storm, it has since become rare to find a GT86 in its stock form. Most owners immediately aim for the massive widebody fenders, deep-dish wheels, and intense camber to be a show car. This wasn’t the case for our customer who tastefully modified their GT86 but still holds true to its AE86 roots.
Due to the lack of style offered from the factory wheels, our customer installed a set of GramLight 57CR Wheels. With the 17×9 sizing and +38mm offset the 57CR fills the fender wells of the GT86 perfectly while offering a snug fender to wheel fitment all the way around. The wheels are a Glossy Black finish to top off the sleek performance look.
