Customer Spotlight: Acura NSX with Advan GT Wheels and Quicksilver Exhaust

It’s no secret that we love the new Acura NSX. Our Project NSX has gotten lots of attention with its Forgeline carbon barrel wheels, but carbon wheels are not for everyone. Not only are carbon wheels expensive, but with non-black spokes, the black color of the carbon can give the appearance of having a black lip on your wheel, which a lot of people aren’t fans of. Luckily, the world of aftermarket wheels is HUGE, with tons of awesome styles from tons of different manufacturers out there. One of our customers, @will.power88, opted for some very clean Advan GT Premium wheels on his NSX.

Advan GT Premium wheels have that JDM five-spoke style that so many people love. These particular wheels are finished in Racing Gloss Black with looks great against the black paint of this NSX. The simple five-spoke design leaves lots of room for the massive brake calipers and rotors to be exposed for everyone to see. The exact fitment of these Advan’s is 20×9 +47 up front and 21×12 +45 in the rear. Of course, the wheels use a 5×120 lug pattern to fit on the NSX.

Although the NSX is an incredible supercar, straight from the factory, it is incredibly quiet, especially for a supercar. To fix this issue, our customer opted for a Quicksilver sport exhaust and Quicksilver race catalysts. This will keep the NSX road legal in most, if not all states, plus it brings out the sound of that twin turbo V6. On top of that, big power gains can be had with an aftermarket exhaust on the NSX, as the factory exhaust is pretty restrictive. Be sure to follow @will.power88 and @vividracing, and the photographer @asvp_roro on Instagram!
