Although a lot of enthusiasts look at the Fiesta ST as a worse alternative to the Focus ST and refuse to consider it a proper hot-hatch, the amount of fun Ford packed into such a small machine is quite impressive. Unfortunately, Ford holds the Fiesta back when it comes to power. They did a great job of squeezing top end power from the tiny KP39 turbocharger, but they didn’t get all the low-end torque the little turbo offers. An easy way to uncover some of this low-end torque is with an aftermarket air intake, which will allow more air to get to the turbocharger, resulting in more compressed air entering the engine.
