Building older vehicles can be troublesome at times due to the difficulty of finding parts. This was especially the case for our customer, Albert, who built a classic Chevy C10 Short Bed. When it came down to the suspension, Albert chose the QA1 control arm and Coilover kit to completely refresh the front suspension. Being that the QA1 kit features complete upper and lower control arms with coilovers, there is no need to source factory arms or replacement bushings.

QA1 offers top of the line suspension and driveline components which inclined Albert to choose the complete control arm and Coilover kit. Adding adjustability was a key factor for him as the C10 is lowered and requires much more adjustability than factory eccentric bolts. With the QA1 kit, Albert is able to dial in ride height and alignment further than what is offered from the factory.

Replacing the factory leaf spring suspension in the front for coilovers significantly improves ride quality and suspension dynamics. Modernizing older vehicles with newer suspension technology not only adds functionality but also provides substantial handling gains. The coilovers paired with double-wishbone technology keep the truck planted while offering amazing steering feedback compared to leaf springs.

No corners were cut with this beautiful c10 short bed build and it shows in the details of each department. It is certain this C10 is an eye-catcher with the candy purple paint job, but what makes it unique is the components under the chassis. In reality, these are the components that matter the most as they truly define a high-quality build. Albert chose nothing but the highest quality parts for his C10 build which certainly shows the longer you look at this magnificent truck.
