It’s no secret that here at Vivid Racing, we love the McLaren 570S. From our own Project 570S to supplying hundreds of McLaren owners with excellent parts, our passion for McLaren vehicles has made us a quite a big name in that market. Naturally, we get to sell a ton of cool parts, such as the parts that 1016 Industries offers. 1016 Industries makes some excellent body kits for Lamborghini, Ferrari, and McLaren vehicles. Their 570S body kit includes a carbon fiber hood, fenders, front aero blades, front chin spoiler, multi-piece side skirts, and a rear wing. Our customer decided to rock the vented hood, as it changes the look for the 570S.
The hood is designed to look like the McLaren P1 hood with huge vents designed to extract heat from the radiators. Unfortunately, the vents aren’t functional on a stock 570S without custom work, but that’s because the 570S cooling system was never designed to work with a vented hood. Functionality aside, the hood gives the 570S more of a supercar look, especially if the carbon fiber is left exposed, like how our customer had their hood painted. Since the vents aren’t functional without modifications, that means you get to keep your frunk, an essential feature for many owners.
