When people think of Mercedes-Benz they automatically envision high-performance luxury. The C-Class vehicles encompass sleek styling along with ultimate class and luxury while offering a taste of the performance Mercedes is known to bring to the table. To be specific, the C350 W204 offers these features with moderate power output at 302 HP and 273 lbs/ft of torque.

 

While 300 HP is sufficient for most owners, it wasn’t cutting it for our customer @ohdrummerwhereartthou who went with an ECU Flash from VR Tuned. After the ECU flash, the performance significantly increased along with gas mileage at highway cruising speeds. Not only was there an improvement to the power output, but the throttle response showed exponential gains giving a snappy response in the top end.

 

The factory output lacked in bottom end power due to the throttle body not fully matching the throttle input. Electronic throttle bodies can provide crucial performance gains if properly corrected within the tune which is where the VR Tuned flash shines. The power puts you back in your seat around 1,500 RPMs compared to 3,000 RPMs in its stock form.

 

Enhancing the performance was easily achieved thanks to the VR Tuned ECU flash which bumped up the power remarkably. Due to the vehicle having an intake and exhaust already, the tune maximized the efficiency of these components which improved the power output even more. Overall, the benefits of the tune drastically changed the feel of the car.
