Most of the time we feature modern day cars, but today we wanted to bring you something a little different. Our customer Tom is in the process of building an extreme 1968 Camaro. With the help of Vivid Racing, this American Muscle icon will be sporting a set of HRE C95’s.
First, here is a just a taste of what this care will be. The power plant is a LSX which will produce monster numbers. This is squeezed into a fully boxed frame with modern day suspension and tubbed rear end to make way for the 11″ wide HRE C95’s.
Final wheel specs are 18×9 fronts and 18×11 rears featuring a satin bronze finish that is accented with silver hardware and center cap. The wheels will be wrapped in Nitto NT01 275/35 and 315/30 tires to provided excellent traction, which will be need to put that power to the ground.
Being as this is just a project, we have some of the photos of the beginning stages showing the engine, sheet metal work and frame.
