Heavily Modified Subaru WRX STI gets some WIDEEE Wheels from Work JP
In recent years car builds have gotten more and more aggressive in terms of styling. Now everyone wants to push the envelope on how wide and how low they can make their vehicle look. Certain body kits and lower add on’s such as diffusers and lips can give the appearance of a low vehicle, but you need the right wheels to make everything come together.
A Customer by the name of Luis (@lunosti) contacted us about purchasing a set of wheels for his 2015 WRX STI. He wanted something custom with aggressive offsets and with a reputable brand name. He was a previous fan/owner of Work Wheels and wanted to stick with what he knew best. It was decided that the Work Meister S1 in 3 piece configuration was the correct wheel for the styling he wanted to achieve. Deciding on a 18×10 square set up, this width is much larger than a standard WRX STI wheel. With the use of a little camber and slightly stretched tires, he was able to get the desired look he wanted, without a problem. By using this large width and low offsets he was able to use different disk styles front and rear. This was able to give the vehicle a “staggered” look, while remaining square.
