Day 6 for Project Pepsi RX8 was a product packed and busy day. We gained a lot of headway on the car which is a good step for us. First, we added our Agency Power rear sway bar and sway bar link. This sway bar is about 3mm larger then the factory bar. It also gives 3 way adjustability to help balance the car with the Agency Power front sway bar we will install later. The rear Agency Power rear endlinks use monoballs for a good rigid feeling. To match our theme, the sway links we did in red and the sway bar in blue.
Next on the agenda was to match our StopTech big brake kit with a rear setup that would give the car a good overall braking performance. The rear kit was fitted with StopTech cross drilled 1 piece rotors, Project Mu NS brake pads, and Agency Power steel braided brake lines. Since StopTech designs their front kit to work with the stock rear caliper setup, these additions will improve upon braking without going over the top and out of balance.
Finally for the day, we bolted our exhaust system. This included the JIC Titanium exhaust and a B&B midpipe. The midpipe deletes the catalytic converter to give the exhaust a better flow and increase in sound and power. The ultra lightweight Titanium exhaust from JIC is a direct bolt on with dual tips. Now that our power is in place, we move on to the roll cage.
