The BMW N55 engine is one of the most capable modern sport car engines ever. Not only can it pretty easily make big power, it can do so very reliably compared to other engines. Of course, not everyone is building crazy BMWs and most of us just want simple bolt ons to make our cars a little bit faster. An easy bolt on modification for the 135i and 335i is the intercooler charge pipe. See, the OEM charge pipes are made of a weak plastic which is known to crack and break over time, resulting in a boost leak.
On top of removing the possibility of the plastic breaking, these Evolution Racewerks charge pipes are larger and smoother than the stock pipes, resulting in a little bit more power and better throttle response. These charge pipes are a great adition to any 135i/335i out there.
