One thing that may seem a bit lackluster on the Maverick, depending on the trim level, are those stock wheels. Our customer (IG: @mavmaxkc) opted for a fresh set of VR Forged D14 monoblock wheels to take his ’22 Ford Maverick to the next level. The VR Forged D14 is a one-piece forged wheel that is perfectly suited to off-road vehicles and trucks in terms of aesthetics and handling. The D14 showcases a simple and wide six-spoke design with an eye-catching machined ring around the outer edge for that bold look. Not only do these wheels look great, though, but they are also fully capable of handling what your truck was meant to do.
The satin bronze finish beautifully contrasts the exterior paint color and gives it that rugged off-road look. These 17×8 D14s have a +30mm offset, 63.4 center bore, 5×108 bolt pattern, and 1100-kilogram (2425-pound) load rating. And each wheel only weighs 9.8 kilograms (around 21 pounds). They are manufactured using a 10,000-ton press so you can be sure that these wheels boast the ultimate in strength and durability. The icing on the cake? They are wrapped in BFGoodrich 245/75r17 KO2 all-terrain tires for unparalleled performance. It’s important to note that this (recommended) tire size requires a 2-inch lift.
